Join us on Friday, July 10 at 5:00 PM for an evening on the Chesapeake. Whether you’re looking to practice your skills or just enjoy time on the water with fellow sailors, we’d love to have you aboard.

Today is the day! 🇺🇸 America 250 weekend continues in Havre de Grace with a full afternoon and evening of celebration.

2:00 PM – Parade along Union Avenue
5:30 PM – Concert at Hutchins Park
7:30 PM – Free Maryland Military Band concert at Concord Point Park
9:15 PM – Fireworks over the Susquehanna

If you’re joining us on the water today, plan ahead, give yourself extra time, and enjoy one of the best boating weekends of the year. We hope to see you out on the Bay!

July 1776: Residents living around today’s Havre de Grace would have been anxiously awaiting word from Philadelphia. News of the United States Declaration of Independence took days to travel, so most people along the Susquehanna River had no idea that independence was about to be declared on July 4. Within days, the news would spread through Maryland’s ports and towns, forever changing life along the Chesapeake🇺🇸🎇
