This Corvette came to us after surface debris damage & a previous polishing & coating attempt unfortunately created additional issues in the paint.

Did you know that we professionally remove road paint from vehicles? There is plenty of road construction happening in the area. We have some important information in case it transfers to your car.

Road marking paint isn’t like average paint contamination. Once it dries, it can bond aggressively to clear coat, plastic trim, wheels, glass, and undercarriage components. Improper removal can easily create more damage than the paint itself.

Here’s why professional removal matters:

🫟Household chemicals, pressure washing, scraping, or aggressive solvents can permanently damage clear coat, stain trim, haze glass, or dull wheels.
🫟Construction paint often contains reflective beads and industrial binders that act abrasively when rubbed or scrubbed.
🫟The longer the paint sits, the harder it cures, making removal more difficult and increasing the risk of staining or etching.
🫟Overspray commonly hides in wheel wells, suspension components, textured plastics, emblems, and body gaps that are easy to miss.
🫟Professional removal uses the correct combination of safe solvents, decontamination methods, polishing, and surface protection to remove the paint while preserving the finish underneath.
🫟A proper process also includes inspecting for scratches, marring, or chemical damage after removal and correcting the finish if needed.

Many vehicles we see after DIY attempts end up needing additional paint intervention because the scrubbing or chemicals caused more harm than the road paint itself.
