The law allows for a darker tint on the rear and side windows, with certain restrictions on the front side windows. Specifically, the front side windows must allow at least 28% VLT (Visible Light Transmission), meaning they can let in at least 28% of light. The windshield can be tinted on the top portion (above the AS-1 line) with a non-reflective tint. Additionally, medical exemptions are available for those with health conditions.
