Join the Idaho Panhandle National Forests for a community meeting in Clark Fork to discuss Lightning Creek Road.

In December 2025, a flood event washed out sections of the road, bridges, and other infrastructure. Much of the road remains closed to motor vehicles.

Forest Service staff will provide photos and a discussion of damages and discuss options for repair and reconstruction.

When: 5 PM on Tuesday, October 27

Where: Clark Fork Junior/Senior High School cafeteria, 502 N Main Street

Day 2. While we did not find a monster, we had some fun fish. The fishery is alive with future monsters. And again had a special guest aboard capn’Ken and some outstanding Fall weather..

Had an outstanding day today with Idaho Forest Group employees. They had purchased a trip at the Sandpoint RMEF banquet . Thanks to IFG for supporting the cause and Thank you boy’s for a fun day 🇺🇸🤜🏼💥🤛🏼🇺🇸🎣🐋

Had the Kaminski Family aboard today a couple Birthdays and 60yrs of marriage to celebrate 🎉The lake did not disappoint weather and fish all made for a pretty fantastic day.
Huge thanks to this group for the opportunity to share the lake and the fishery with them.
