🏁 Houston RC Mini-Z Season 8 | Season Recap & Champions 🏆

Six months, six rounds, six classes, and six Driver Championships on the line! On Saturday, we brought Houston RC’s Mini-Z Season 8 to a close after a long, hard-fought season. With each driver’s lowest round dropped from their championship points, every race mattered.

We saw plenty of highs and lows, with multiple drivers taking turns leading their respective championships. We finished the season with our largest layout yet! Kyosho Box Stock drivers were turning laps in the 20-second range, while our Modified racers were pushing hard just to break into the 14s! 🔥

📊 SEASON 8 BY THE NUMBERS

🏁 12,844 official laps completed
🏎️ 260 total class entries
👥 144 individual drivers
📈 Largest class: Kyosho Box Stock
⚡ Fastest class: Modified

A huge congratulations to our champions and everyone who competed this season!

More importantly, thank you to every racer who showed up, helped out, shared a laugh, and made Season 8 what it was. From the close championship battles to the time spent together off the track, this is what Houston RC is all about.

We also want to thank everyone who helped run the program and supported the track. Houston RC is built around racers, by racers, and we couldn't do it without you.

🏁 Mini-Z Season 8 | Round 6 Finale Recap 🏁

What a way to wrap up Season 8! This Saturday, we closed out the season with a massive track layout, chasing those 20+ second lap times (Kyosho Box Stock) — and it absolutely delivered! 🔥

At the start of the season, everyone voted to skip the elaborate trophies and put that money toward lunch and dinner instead. So we traded hardware for chicken wings, fries, and a whole lot of fun! 🍗🍟 Between the wheel-to-wheel battles on track and nonstop laughs in the pits, it was a fantastic way to finish the season. 🏎️👏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who raced, marshaled, helped out, and made this season such a great one. The racing is what brings us together, but the people are what make it special! ❤️

Official Fast Laps:
- Kyosho Box Stock winner: 19.1, Brad L.
- Formula One winner: 15.8, Dave P.
- Kyosho Master winner: 15.7, Paul V.
- HRC2500 winner: 15.5, Dave P.
- HRC3500 winner: 14.9, Devin F.
- Modified winner: 13.8, Moe A.

Missed the finale? No worries! We're open TODAY for Sunday Funday from 12–5 PM, with Mini-Z and crawler courses open for practice. Come hang out and get some laps in!
