Station 113 C-Shift recently received recognition from Texas Health for their outstanding patient care and teamwork.

The recognition stemmed from a call involving a patient who suffered a cardiac arrest. Through the crew’s quick actions and high-quality care, return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) was achieved prior to transport. Upon arrival at Texas Health Plano, the patient was rapidly transferred to the cardiac catheterization lab for advanced treatment.

This successful outcome highlights the seamless collaboration between Carrollton Fire Rescue EMS personnel and the emergency department team at Texas Health Plano. Working together, they made a meaningful difference in this patient’s life and exemplified the dedication and professionalism of all involved.
