A cool customer from Maine sent us two Corvettes sight unseen, a C8 E-Ray and a C6 Z06 both for our popular performance packages.

The C8 E-Ray is receiving a Magnuson 2650 supercharger, while the C6 Z06 will be heading home with our 700-horsepower package, better known as The Reaper.

In this video, we introduce both cars before diving straight into the C8 E-Ray build, covering all the details and complete action from start to finish.

Not every Corvette needs 1,000 horsepower to be a blast to drive.

This low-mile 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray LT1 came into Late Model Racecraft with only 4,900 miles on the odometer, and the customer wanted the perfect weekend warrior: reliable, fun to drive, great sound, and a nasty idle chop without going boosted.

For this build, we installed our LMR Stage 2 Naturally Aspirated Package, including a cold air induction system, American Racing Headers, high-flow cats, factory mufflers, flex fuel sensor, and our custom grind camshaft designed specifically for an automatic car with the stock torque converter.

The result?

Baseline:
396 RWHP / 393 RWTQ

After LMR Stage 2 NA Package:
476 RWHP / 443 RWTQ

That’s an 80 rear-wheel horsepower gain while keeping the car street-friendly, reliable, and easy to enjoy on 93 octane or E85.

In this video, we walk around the build, show the dyno results, explain why this package is perfect for C7 LT1 owners, and take it out for a street test to show how much fun a naturally aspirated Corvette can be.

This C6 Z06 Carbon Edition just got the Late Model Racecraft 700X package, and it is absolutely nasty.

Built for the customer who wants more than the standard 700HP setup, this LS7-powered Z06 gets a more aggressive heads/cam combo, added compression, E85 capability, MGW shifter, McLeod clutch, dual catch can setup, Borla exhaust, Forgeline wheels, and serious tire out back to help put the power down.

On the dyno, this setup laid down 621 RWHP and 510 RWTQ, making it a perfect weekend warrior for roll racing, drag racing, road racing, and anyone who wants that raw LS7 sound and performance.

This package does sacrifice a little drivability compared to our standard 700 package, but for the right customer, the extra power, chop, sound, and attitude are completely worth it.
