First, thank you to everyone who’s shared our page and referred customers our way. We’ve been slammed with hail damage from the Pearland and Sugar Land storm — so busy we had to expand and take over the bigger shop right next to us.

Here’s a heads up on what we’re seeing from the insurance companies so you know what to expect:

State Farm is moving the slowest on hail claim approvals right now. They’re barely working on May 15th claims, which means some customers are waiting up to 3 weeks for approval. This isn’t normal for them — they’ve told us directly they’re extremely backed up. Because of this, we are not taking in State Farm vehicles unless a claim is already filed and the first initial estimate is approved.

Progressive is hit or miss depending on the adjuster assigned to your vehicle. They’ll set an inspection, then change it last minute. Other times we get lucky and they come out within two days of drop-off.

Geico has been the surprise — moving extremely fast and by far the easiest to get approvals from. The faster the approval, the faster we can get to work.

All other carriers are moving quick thanks to virtual estimates.

Hey everyone, we’ve got six vehicles at the shop today from the recent storm, and after inspecting them under our lights, we’re seeing a lot more hail damage than customers originally thought.
