Looking for serious power for your classic air-cooled VW? This 2165cc engine features quality performance components and is designed for Type 1 Beetle and Type 2 Bus applications.

- Engle FK87 camshaft
- Straight-cut gears
- Wiseco pistons
- Mahle cylinders

Performance: Approximately 160 HP on the dyno!

This engine was built by our shop team and will be broken in and dyno-tuned before leaving our shop.

This engine is built on the proven CB Performance 1187 Builder's Choice Engine Kit, but we made two key changes to make it a streetable beast: we utilized our custom ¥2288 camshaft and set the compression at 9.5:1 to slightly de-tune the engine for better drivability without sacrificing power.
