This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the true meaning behind the holiday.

Memorial Day is more than just a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer. It’s a day to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day, and we are forever grateful.

We also recognize the families and loved ones who continue to carry that loss with them. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

As a small gesture of appreciation, we’re proud to honor active-duty military, veterans, and retirees with $500 OFF any new or used vehicle now through the end of the month.

In observance of Memorial Day, Speedway Subaru Volkswagen will be closed on Monday so our team can spend time with family and friends while reflecting on the importance of this day.

To truly understand how massive the Indy 500 is, you’ve got to put it into perspective.
Today, over 350,000 fans will pack the Indianapolis Motor Speedway—making it the largest single-day sporting event on Earth.

• That’s more people than the population of St. Louis, Orlando, or Pittsburgh
• On race day, IMS becomes Indiana’s second largest “city”—just behind Indianapolis
• And millions more will tune in from around the world to watch it live

The Speedway itself? It’s colossal.

You could fit Lucas Oil Stadium, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Victory Field, Monument Circle, AND the Indianapolis Zoo inside the IMS infield—and still have room to spare.
