People always get excited about flying the R22, but one of the most important things you’ll ever learn happens before you even get in it.

A good preflight can catch a small issue before it becomes a big one. It’s not something you rush through or do because the checklist says so. It’s a habit that could save your life.

We found a really good R22 preflight guide with pictures that shows exactly what you’re looking at and why it matters. We printed it, put it in a binder, and now every one of our students has it right there during training. It makes learning the helicopter a whole lot easier, especially when you’re new.

The goal isn’t just to teach you how to pass a checkride. We want you to leave here knowing how to inspect your helicopter, understand what you’re looking at, and be confident every time you go flying.
