The most expensive thing at a trucking company isn't the trailer. It's the driver's time. A.D. Transport builds around that, and it wasn't always this easy.
Tom has been with A.D. Transport Express for 30 years. Long enough to remember tracking every trailer on a board full of magnets, moved by hand, then moved again in the system just to keep the two in sync.
"It led to a lot of mistakes," Tom says.
Today, that redundant step is gone. Everything happens electronically, once.
"Their time is so valuable, and we really want to do everything in our power to let them maximize their time and maximize their earnings," Tom says.
That's the real win: time and earnings handed back to the people actually driving the freight.
