Sometimes boats that come through our gates carry stories far more valuable than the boat itself, or anything we can install—and this is one of them.
This boat was originally purchased in Miami in 1975 by my customer’s father, who raised his family on it. In 2000, he passed it down to his son. Two years ago, that son—now a father himself—and his own boy began a full hull up restoration together. They didn’t just bring it back—they rebuilt it better than new. Now, three generations in, his son plans to one day pass it along to the fourth.
It’s hard to put into words what it means to be trusted with something like that—to have this family bring a piece of their history all the way from South Carolina to us here in Jacksonville.
For this project, we outfitted the boat with a brand-new Yamaha Outboards with second station controls. We completed a full bow-to-stern rewire, including all new accessories and switch panels, and added a complete Garmin Marine electronics package, and Kracken trolling motor mounted on a . For the ultimate in ride control, we installed a Seakeeper Ride system and all the finishing touches needed to complement this incredible restoration.
