FULL-TIME AUTO & TRUCK TECHNICIAN
We are a family-owned repair shop looking for an EXPERIENCED technician who can handle just about anything that rolls through the door. We are NOT a corporate shop, and we are NOT looking to babysit or train beginners. We need real help from someone who takes pride in their work and works well with a team.
✅ REQUIREMENTS:
- NYS Inspection License
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 5 years experience in a repair shop working on all makes & models
- ASE Certifications are a plus
🔧 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Welding & soldering
- Torch work
- Alignments
- Mounting & balancing tires (low profile & heavy-duty truck tires a plus)
- Wheel bearings & brake jobs
- Major engine repairs & replacements
- Transmission repairs & replacements
- Diesel repair (including cab-off truck work)
- A/C diagnostics & repair
- Heavy-duty truck front-end repairs
- Classic car repairs & modifications
- Ability to efficiently diagnose old & new vehicles
- Perform THOROUGH multi-point inspections with proper test drive procedures
- Torque sequencing is an absolute MUST
- DOUBLE & TRIPLE CHECK YOUR WORK

🐶 SHOP ENVIRONMENT:
We have 3 shop dogs — Squigz, Cornflake, and Ozzy — so you must be comfortable around dogs.
Some days you may work on a classic car, the next day a Mercedes, Lexus, diesel truck, or heavy-duty repair. We need someone versatile, motivated, and ready to work.
Yes, we need someone with a “mad scientist” skill set and a military-style work ethic — but we work hard to make it rewarding for the right person.
