The women of Fontaine Fifth Wheel, Fontaine Trailer Company, and Fontaine Specialized recently came together to celebrate Fontaine's Women in Trucking Day. The event recognized the many women who help keep our industry moving every day across manufacturing, operations, logistics, sales, administration, and leadership.

It was a great opportunity to connect, celebrate achievements, and recognize the impact women make at Fontaine and throughout the trucking community.

Sometimes our sales team shares photos that make us say, "What?!" This is one of those.

Proper lubrication of a fifth wheel is essential for safety, performance, and the lifetime of the equipment. In cases like the photo below, the rust from a lack of lubricant on the back of the wedge can cause issues with opening and closing the locking mechanism.

In less than 15 minutes, fifth wheel expert Steve Wyatt explains the suggested preventative maintenance routine to extend the life of a Fontaine fifth wheel, including proper lubrication techniques.

This weekend we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.
