All classes will be using transponders.

All drivers must wear the following safety gear at all times when on the track:
Gloves
Racing Jacket/Jacket
Long pants
Closed-toe shoes
Neck Roll
RACEceiver
Champ Karts must have arm restraints

Don't forget:

Per NKA rules, two-way radio communication between drivers and crew members is strictly prohibited while a driver is on the track.

Any driver or team found using two-way radio communication may be subject to penalties at the discretion of race officials, up to and including disqualification.

Exception: The Bandolero and Legend divisions are exempt from this rule, as they compete under INEX regulations and must follow all applicable INEX rules regarding driver communications.

Important information: Kentuckiana Kart Racing follows rules for National Kart Alliance.

The National Karting Alliance (NKA) strictly prohibits two-way radio communications for drivers while in their karts. Teams must rely exclusively on mandatory one-way receivers (Raceceivers) used by race control to communicate safety commands to drivers on the track. If caught penalty will be applied up to official discretion.
Bandoleros and Legends are exempt. They follow INEX rules.
