The 35 3w in for the retrofit 327 sbc treatment. Giving it a bit more power and easier options going to A/C and making it more of a road trip car.

So when you are alone driving almost eight hours to Oklahoma from Texas for a car show you have a lot of time to think about your life choices. Car shows.. where did this really start for me? Growing up in the shadow of my dad with early V8 club runs, vintage drag racing,Bonneville land speed racing and just general hot rodding will those who lived it in the 40's. The earliest lasting memory was Oakland roadster show. We were with Ed Hegarty (long time family friend)he was driving us in a limousine to Oakland .He pulls up to the main entrance to the building and tells security he's with channel 7 and they wave us through. Next thing you know we are literally pulling into the show emptying out around cars and bikes etc.Then off the get a airbrushed T shirt of Ed's Deucari on it. so this was shortly after 1979 when the 32 roadster won the AMBR and he bought it from Brian. Fast forward early 2000's Rexrods showing cars San Mateo,San Francisco Cow Palace and Pamona GNRS. Always the younger guy around a sea of high end experianced builders. This year I found myself in the same circle of builders who I admire and looked up to with a car that I was very proud to be apart of. Congratulations to my Friend Brad Linding and all those who were involved in this project. Thanks for the incredible show.

First Hot rod build in 1978....Prune Box, mail cart rear wheels, mower fronts, custom flame job and a small box power plant! It's been a wild ride ever since.
