As many of you know, Carwin’s Car Care has officially relocated to Jacksonville, North Carolina.

While I’m excited for this new opportunity and the chance to grow closer to the beautiful East Coast, I’d be lying if I said this move was easy. One of the hardest parts has been leaving behind so many incredible, loyal clients who have supported my business over the years.

To everyone who trusted me with your vehicles, thank you. Your support, referrals, kind words, and friendships have meant more than you’ll ever know. You’ve helped turn my passion into a career, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Now it’s time to build those same relationships here in Eastern North Carolina.

✨ Toyota Avalon Exterior Correction ✨

This Toyota Avalon came in after a repaint with some noticeable overspray blemishes and light swirl marks that were taking away from the appearance of the finish.

One thing many people don’t realize is that freshly repainted vehicles require a different approach than older factory paint. Since the clear coat on this Avalon was still relatively new, I chose to use a light polishing pad and a less aggressive polishing process rather than a heavy-cut correction.

Why?

The goal isn’t always to remove as much clear coat as possible. New paint systems can be more susceptible to marring and unnecessary defects if overly aggressive compounds and pads are used. By selecting a lighter polishing combination, I was able to safely refine the finish, remove the majority of the light imperfections, and improve gloss and clarity while preserving the integrity of the fresh clear coat.

The process included:
✔️ Removal of overspray contamination
✔️ Paint decontamination
✔️ Light machine polishing to reduce swirls and haze
✔️ Enhancement of gloss, clarity, and depth
✔️ Protection applied to help maintain the finish

The result is a significantly smoother surface, improved reflections, and a finish that looks much closer to how a freshly painted vehicle should look.

Paint correction isn’t always about being aggressive—it’s about using the right combination of tools, pads, and products to achieve the best results while protecting the paint for years to come.

This 2022 Ford Bronco rolled in looking like the previous owner tried to polish it with a brick and a bath towel. 😅

This Ford F-150 came in looking like it had survived a parking lot boxing match… complete with paint transfer souvenirs from “that pole that came out of nowhere.” 😅

After a full Interior Detail and some spot paint correction magic, the mystery paint marks are gone, the interior is reset, and this truck is back to looking like it belongs on the road instead of the evidence locker. 👀✨

That moment when your Honda Odyssey pulls up looking like it just survived snack time, soccer practice, AND a cross-country road trip… and then casually mentions it’s about to go OCONUS for PCS orders 😅

No pressure, right?

This van came in for a HD Interior Detail, and let’s just say… things that definitely weren’t on the packing list were found. Crumbs from deployments past, mystery stickiness, and enough pet hair to start its own squadron 🫡

But after the full works treatment:

This Ford Expedition pulled up looking like it was washed with a broom… then dried with a bath towel from 2003 😅
