NOW HIRING: Experienced Service Writer / Sales Advisor
TNS Autosports – North Kansas City, MO
TNS Autosports is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dependable Service Writer / Sales Advisor to join our growing team. We are not looking for someone who simply answers phones and writes estimates. We need a professional who can build relationships with customers, sell automotive services with confidence, and help drive the success of our business every day.
This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a professional automotive repair environment and understands how a fast-paced shop operates.
Requirements
✅ Minimum 2 years experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or Automotive Sales Advisor
✅ Experience working in a professional repair facility with at least 4 technicians
✅ Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance services
✅ Ability to build estimates, explain repairs, and close sales
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✅ Comfortable using shop management software, phone systems, and computers
✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✅ Valid driver's license
✅ Professional appearance and attitude
What You'll Be Doing
Automotive Service Sales
Greet customers and create a positive first impression
Build repair estimates and maintenance recommendations
Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle inspections and repairs
Present repair recommendations clearly and professionally
Follow up with customers and close sales opportunities
Maintain customer relationships and generate repeat business
Aftermarket Sales
In addition to automotive repair services, you'll help customers with:
Car audio systems
Radios and multimedia upgrades
Speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers
Wheels and tires
Lift and leveling kits
LED lighting
Window tint
Vehicle accessories and customization
Training will be provided on our product lines, but you must be a quick learner and comfortable discussing automotive upgrades with customers.
Shop Operations
Schedule appointments
Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians
Keep repair orders accurate and organized
Assist management with daily operations
Help maintain a professional customer experience from start to finish
