🌲🚐 Another great day at Greenwood Campground! 🚐🌲
Joe recently purchased a new-to-him 2011 Keystone Retreat FFSK39 and noticed things just weren't draining the way they should. After talking things over, we suspected the previous owners may have left the tank valves open for extended periods of time—a common cause of buildup and sludge.

Well, we got to work, and all three holding tanks definitely needed some attention! 💦💪 We were able to remove a lot of sludge and buildup, and now Joe's tanks are draining properly again and his sensors are reading much better.

One of the best parts of the day was all the friendly folks at Greenwood Campground stopping by to see what was going on, ask questions, and learn a little more about proper tank care. It's always fun talking RVs with fellow campers! 😊

☀️ What a great day to be at Kamp Dels in Waterville! 🌲🚐
Matt and Jennifer recently purchased a new-to-them 2001 Forest River Cedar Creek 40CCK destination trailer and have it set up in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. 🌊🏕️

Unfortunately, odors had become a big issue, and there was a significant buildup of waste inside the holding tanks that had accumulated over time. 😬 It took some extra work 💪, but after a thorough Kleen Tank hydro-jet cleaning, their tanks are now clean, odor-free, and ready for many seasons of enjoying this amazing view. ✨🚿

Busy day at Town & Country RV Park in Savage, Minnesota!
Our next stop was with Chrissy & Clark and their 2014 Keystone Raptor 310. This RV had accumulated significant buildup in all three holding tanks over the years.
Fortunately, we were able to thoroughly clean the tanks and remove the buildup, helping restore proper tank performance. Every RV is different, and this service call was a great reminder of how important periodic tank maintenance can be.

Another great day for Kleen Tank at Town & Country RV Park in Savage, Minnesota!
Today we worked with Jon & Allison and their 2025 Brinkley Z3515. Even though their RV is still fairly new, they were concerned there might already be some tank buildup and that the tank sensors weren't reading as accurately as they should.

After a thorough cleaning and inspection, we found the tanks were actually in pretty good shape. Sometimes it's reassuring to find out that a problem isn't as serious as it appears. Regular maintenance and checking things early can help prevent larger issues down the road.

The rain held off just long enough for me to take care of Fred and Brenda’s 2020 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. 🌧️🚐

They were dealing with a clog that may have been caused by not using enough water to properly fill the black tank. And let’s just say… the gray tank wasn’t exactly a pretty sight either. 😅

Fred and Brenda are some of the camp hosts who help keep this campground running smoothly, so I was glad we could get everything cleaned up and ready to go before the holiday weekend kicked off. 👍

Which holding tank valve do you open first when you're emptying your tanks? The black one, right? And then the gray one to rinse out the sewer hose.

Nope. You open the gray tank valve first — for about 5 to 10 seconds. That lubricates the sewer hose and allows you to see if there are any leaks. Close the gray, open the black, and finish up with the gray tank(s).

Oh, and don't leave those tank valves open: If you do, liquid will drain off and you'll soon experience mounds, clogs, rotting waste creating smells, and other tank problems. Leave the valves open until you sensors read full (need some help getting them back reading correctly — hey, we know a company that can help with that!).
