🚘 1982 | PRESERVATION, NOT AGGRESSIVE CORRECTION.

Some vehicles deserve a different approach. When working on a classic like this 1982 truck, the goal is to enhance the finish while preserving as much of the existing paint as possible.

🔹 Paint Thickness Inspection – We measured the paint using a paint thickness gauge to better understand what we were working with.

🔹 Focused Paint Correction – Carefully refining the finish while keeping paint preservation a priority.

🔹 Professional-Grade Ceramic Coating – Locking in the results and adding long-term protection.

🔹 Hand-Polished Wheels – Cleaning up the finish and bringing back the shine.

At Hammers Detailing, we believe in doing things the right way. Not every vehicle needs aggressive correction. Sometimes, the best results come from knowing what to correct, what to preserve, and when to leave well enough alone.

Preserving the paint. Protecting the finish. Respecting the vehicle.

🔴 2026 Chevrolet Corvette C8 | Red Mist Tintcoat 🔴

This beautiful Red Mist Tintcoat Corvette received the Hammers Detailing treatment, combining precision paint correction with professional-grade protection inside and out.

🔹 Two-Step Paint Correction
Before applying the coating, we performed a two-step paint correction to refine the finish, improve clarity, and maximize the depth and gloss of this stunning red paint.

🔹 Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra
The exterior is now protected with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra, delivering exceptional gloss, surface slickness, and resistance to wash-induced swirling and chemical contaminants. The result is a finish that looks incredible and is better equipped to withstand the demands of everyday driving.

🔹 Wheels-Off Protection | Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour
We removed the wheels to properly access and protect the wheel barrels, brake calipers, and suspension components. Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour, our dedicated wheel coating, was applied to the appropriate wheel surfaces for easier maintenance and improved resistance to brake dust and road grime.

🔹 Interior Protection | Professional-Grade Products
The interior received a thorough cleaning followed by specialized protection for the different materials throughout the cabin:
▪️ Gtechniq Leather Guard for leather surfaces
▪️ Dr. Beasley’s Dash Pro for interior trim and dashboard surfaces
▪️ Dr. Beasley’s Carpet Protection for carpet and fabric surfaces

Every surface requires the right product and approach. Our goal is to help preserve the materials, simplify future maintenance, and keep this Corvette looking its best.

At Hammers Detailing, we believe true vehicle protection goes beyond a shiny exterior. It’s about the preparation, attention to detail, and material-specific protection that help preserve a vehicle’s appearance for the long haul.

This Corvette is ready to turn heads, with a finish that speaks for itself! 🔥

1994 Camaro Z28 🏁

This Z28 was repainted roughly 20 years ago and came to us with overspray present in multiple areas of the vehicle.

This wasn’t a simple polish-and-coat job. We first carefully removed the overspray from the paint, followed by a multi-step paint correction to refine the finish, improve clarity, and bring the paint back to life.

Once the paint was properly corrected and prepared, we applied our 9-year professional-grade ceramic coating for long-term protection and easier maintenance.

20-year-old paint. Proper preparation. Professional results.

Check out the before and afters.

Tonight, we finished applying the professional-grade ceramic coating to this vehicle, and it’s now curing overnight.

We still have more work ahead of us before it’s ready to leave the shop, but even at this stage, what a difference. The gloss, depth, and finish are already coming to life.

This is why proper preparation, professional application, and controlled curing matter when it comes to long-term vehicle protection.

Two-Time Gtechniq Calendar Feature

There’s something pretty special about seeing one of your vehicles featured on a calendar hanging in your own shop.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been selected TWICE as the “Car of the Month” for the Gtechniq yearly calendar.

For us, it’s more than just a cool photo on a calendar. It represents the standards we’ve worked hard to build at Hammers Detailing.

As a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer, we’re part of a professional network that requires experience, proper training, a dedicated facility and the ability to meet Gtechniq’s standards for professional coating installation.

That matters because ceramic coating isn’t simply about applying a product to paint. Preparation, paint correction, application, curing, maintenance and attention to detail all play a role in how that coating performs.

Being accredited also means our customers have access to Gtechniq’s professional coating guarantee programs where applicable, along with the required annual inspection and maintenance process.

We’re proud to bring that level of professional ceramic coating installation right here locally.

Local shop. Professional standards. Proven experience.

And getting to see Hammers Detailing featured twice in the Gtechniq calendar is something we’ll always be proud of.

Thank you to Gtechniq for the recognition, and especially to the customers who trust us with their vehicles year after year.
