One thing we love is a barn find… in this case, it was an airport hangar parking lot find.

We sourced this 996 from a small airport in rural North Texas, where it had been sitting after a much different chapter in its life.

The story on this 996 is that it was caught in a flood in South Florida about 9 years ago, sadly only making it to 33k miles.

This one has been selected as one of our 2027 builds, a series of projects we’ll be bringing to life over the next year. Two directions come to mind: track or…. safari. We’ll let you guess where it belongs.💡🐂

Airstrip passes 🛩️ w/

Our 996 mk1 built by us stretching its legs at Cibolo creek ranch.

This one has our 3.6L conversion still keeping its throttle by wire🫡 it rips but the one coming up next will be a whole different animal…🐂

🏁 F1 WEEK IN AUSTIN.

Last night, we had the pleasure of being invited to the reveal of our friends’ Race House/ Mosing Motorcars 996 GT3 Safari build. We love to celebrate the 996 generation 911.

We joined in our crème white 944, adding a little vintage transaxle flavor to an incredible gathering of enthusiasts, great friends, and beautiful machines. 🤠

WEST TEXAS, THE LONG WAY. ⛰️

A little over 1,400 miles through some of Texas’ best country. Wild Rose Pass, the Fort Davis Mountains, Marfa, Cibolo Creek Ranch, the Cilobo airstrip and everything in between.

The Crème White 944 finally got to stretch its legs, first day was about 200 miles and did them without a hiccup. The 996 Aero with the 3.6 conversion came along for the ride, as did Wally’s Guards Red 996. All three handled the West Texas miles without missing a beat.

We made our way through the Chinati Mountains, spent some time at Cibolo Creek Ranch and got to experience a piece of Texas that’s hard to put into words. Big country, empty roads, ranches with hundreds of years in history, and scenery that makes you question if you’re still in Texas.
