Good morning Killeen-Dallas, Tx.

We are heading to Dallas this a.m, my oldest son Samuel graduates from high school today.
I'm so proud of him 💪.
I didn't get to graduate, that always kills me inside, so for him to have that, it makes me very proud of him.

1978 GMC Sierra Grande C1500.
292 straight 6, automatic.

This truck belonged to my son's great grandfather (mom's side of the family) I remember his great grandfather driving it around in Grand Prairie, Tx back in the day.
I always knew that my son would get it when he was grown 💪.

He did.

Can y'all believe that my son got it running right before his graduation 👀.
He didn't even tell me that he was working on it, with his sorry self.
I knew that he had done a few thing's to it.

The picture is with his grandparents, too wild.

He will be driving it to graduation.

I'm super proud now 😁.

Big bummer because we are not in the Excursion or the Superduty today.
So no pictures with them and the GMC.

My babe has a work meeting tomorrow so she has to stay for the night.
I will catch a ride back with my daughter.

We have another graduation tomorrow in Killeen.

We are off today.
We have been staying busy at the shop, we pushed HARD this week and we got a lot done.

I have 2 big projects to finish up.

I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ANYTHING FOR A WHILE.

My wife and I are in Huntsville, Tx this a.m.

Look at the beauty that I came across just now.

I asked her if I could take a picture of it and if I could include her in it.

She was ok with it, she matched the car so she had to be included.

If you know me, you know I like to get into everything.
I do it all.

The washer broke a few weeks ago, I'm not a pro but I know a lot.

My lady said, hey the key pad/mother board is bad on the washer, I looked at it and I'm like, no I think it's the door lock switch.

She ended up having to go to the laundromat, she hates it, she didn't get home until 10p.m that day, it was a Sunday.

We went back and forth on it, we even argued a little bit about what it was.

The issue went away and it let us wash a few more times.

On one of the last times it let us wash, it finally threw a code.

Regarding the door lock switch.

2019 Chevrolet Trax.
1.4L Turbo.

This car belongs to my daughter, she came in late January, she was leaking oil.
We tore into it and we replaced, seals, turbo assembly, turbo lines, coolant housing, etc.

I posted that repair already.

We got her done and she was leak free and running well.

It kept throwing a Turbo related code, which it wasn't before.

We left it like that and i eventually had to get back into it.
The Turbo was an aftermarket one.
She came back and I ended up removing it, returning it and buying and installing an original one (GM).

She also started leaking oil from the valve cover.
On these car's the valve cover works with the intake manifold, so we went ahead and replaced the intake manifold and the valve cover on it.

800 miles in with the OEM turbo and we have 0 issues, no check engine light or codes on at all.

💪.

We are heading to Dallas this weekend and she is going back with us.

She's complete.
