Just a reminder guys the 2026 Gateway Classic Presented by Pro-Line reschedule date is coming up in a little over a week! There will be Friday practice on 7/10 and then the whole race program will be run on 7/11, make sure to come check it out!!

A huge thank you to Pro-Line Racing for providing an amazing haul of prizes that will be given away throughout the weekend. On top of that, Horizon Hobby has added the Gateway Classic to their Racer Payout Program (RPP), giving racers even more opportunities to take home cash rewards.

We're also introducing some new features for our nitro racers this year, including a dedicated Nitro Warm-Up Area and Nitro Staging Area to help keep race day organized and make getting to the track smoother than ever.

Format: Rocket Round, 2 rounds of qualifying followed by mains

The track will remain closed until Tuesday.

Please do not use the track during this time. Running on it now will cause even more damage and make it harder for the crew to get everything back in shape.

RAINOUT RESCHEDULE DATE!!!!!

Sworkz Shootout
July 24th-25th.

Well, it wasn’t a lack of effort. We put every resource we had in to make this happen . But a 20min downpour shot our two days of work down. Track was prime this morning, 30 mins before we were going to start the program a pop up cell ended it. So what does that mean?

A rescheduled date of July 25th with all day open practice on Friday the 24th. Hope to see everyone there!

The track crew has the pipes going down, and we're making great progress getting everything ready!

To say our track crew is good would be an understatement. We have had hands on deck from 9:30am and the crew is still there working to make sure the 2026 Sworkz Shootout is going to be an amazing one. Mother Nature threw everything she had at us but we don’t give up around here. Fresh on site BBQ, and a freshly re done track will make for perfect conditions tomorrow.

Not every track or crew will go this far to make sure a race happens. Pumping water for hours, pulling tubes, and running a bobcat for you guys to have the best conditions to race on.

9:43pm and the crew is still working! See everyone tomorrow morning !

As of right now, the track is being drained and we will be racing tomorrow!

We are going to push the start time back to around 12:00 PM to give the track crew extra time to get everything ready. We’ll also give everyone about one hour of practice time before racing starts.

Thanks for everyone’s patience. We hope to see you all tomorrow for the Sworkz Shootout!

As of right now the 2026 Sworkz Shootout is still a go! We have tarps going on the track today and the chance of rain for Saturday keeps getting less and less. Friday practice will more than likely be a wash as that is the day the heavy rain is supposed to hit so the track will be covered
