Headlight alignment is something you probably don't think much about until you're driving down a dark road and can't see as far as you could a week ago.
After a collision, damage to the headlight mounts or surrounding structure can change where your headlights are aimed, even if the lights themselves still work.
Aim them too low, and you lose valuable visibility down the road. Too high, and you can create dangerous glare for oncoming traffic.
If you've recently been in an accident, even a minor one, pay attention to where your headlights are shining. If one beam appears noticeably higher than the other, or the road ahead isn't being illuminated like it used to be, that's a good sign you need your vehicle checked out. If things aren't looking right, we're always here to help.
