The second half of our Service Elite Training days brought a little more hands-on learning, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs! 🔧👏

One exercise focused on the importance of clear communication between our service advisors and technicians. With technicians wearing headphones, our advisors had to communicate the information needed to complete a task, showing just how important it is to gather and relay the right details to get the job done correctly.

Of course, we had to throw in a little friendly competition. From guessing “What Am I?” to naming vehicle makes and models from A to Z, our teams put their automotive knowledge to the test for some fun prizes!

We even challenged some people to a one-handed tower-building competition using nothing but spaghetti sticks and marshmallows! 😂

As fun as these activities were, each one served a bigger purpose — strengthening communication, encouraging creative problem-solving, and reminding us how much we can accomplish when we work together.

Our finale day of Service Training! COME ON DOWN!

Here’s a look back at Days 1 and 2 of our Service Elite Training, where we took a different approach to our morning sessions by focusing on real challenges and finding real solutions👏

Instead of our usual training format, team members sat alongside coworkers from their own dealerships to identify a breakdown in one of their everyday processes. From there, each table worked together to dig deeper into the issue, discussing the root causes, possible solutions, and the results they expect to see from making those changes.

To wrap things up, a team leader from each table presented their findings to the entire room, sharing what their group uncovered and how they plan to improve.

What makes this exercise so valuable is that these aren't just hypothetical situations. These are real challenges our teams face every day, and the solutions they develop here are ones they can take directly back to their dealerships and put into action.

That's what our Elite Training is all about — not just learning something new, but working together to make meaningful improvements that benefit our employees, our dealerships, and ultimately, our customers! 💙

We’re wrapping up our Sterling Values Series with our final value, G — Gratitude! ❤️👏

At Sterling Automotive Group, we have a lot to be thankful for. From the customers who continue to choose us and the communities that support us, to the employees who show up every day and put their best foot forward — each plays a part in making Sterling what it is today.

We believe gratitude goes beyond simply saying thank you. It’s about showing appreciation through our actions, recognizing the efforts of others, and finding ways to give back to those who have helped us along the way.

As we close out our Sterling Values Series, we’re reminded that these values aren’t just words we share — they’re the foundation of how we work, how we treat people, and how we continue to grow together.
