Car Warranties.
We do not recommend them at all!! They will make you wait, cost you thousands of diagnostic and tear down time that they do not pay for. You are much better off to bank the $$ you would have spent on the warranty.
Most of all, make sure you have your maintenance done, do not go by your percentage life indicator, if it’s a GM, Ford or Chrysler DO EVERY 5000 MILES!
These new smaller turbo engines aren’t reliable and this why most people want a warranty, but guess what? They don’t cover turbos!! That’s right, because they know this is the first thing to go and it’s their way out of an expensive repair. So make sure you maintain your vehicle and just pay for for the repair, it will be cheaper in the long run.
