Aydin Horne Claims 2026 2wd Modified Buggy JConcepts Indoor Nationals Series Championship!
Aydin Horne captured the 2026 JConcepts Indoor National Series (INS16) 2WD Modified Buggy championship behind the wheel of his Team Associated RC10B7.1. The five-round series brought together top off-road racers from across the United States and around the world, competing in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska, and Indiana. With only the best three results counting toward the championship, consistency and strong performances were essential to securing the title.
Horne opened the series with a second-place finish at Trackside Hobbies in Wisconsin. At Round 2, hosted by RC One Racing in Michigan, he battled for the lead throughout qualifying and the A-Mains on a demanding carpet layout, ultimately finishing third. Round 3 at Island Speedway in Iowa featured a fast, technical layout on high-grip carpet, where Horne maintained his championship points lead despite a challenging weekend. At Round 4, hosted by HobbyTown HobbyPlex in Omaha, Nebraska, Horne found his pace on the flowing, high-grip dirt track, securing the TQ and overall victory. The series concluded at Hoosier RC Hobbyplex in Indiana, completing a season of diverse track layouts, surfaces, and changing grip levels.
Horne's championship-winning performance highlights the versatility of his RC10B7.1, equipped with Factory Team accessories and Reedy Power electronics. Combined with his driving skill and tuning knowledge, the package proved competitive across the changing conditions throughout the series. Congratulations to Aydin Horne and everyone involved in his racing program on capturing the 2026 JConcepts Indoor National Series 2WD Modified Buggy championship!
