The Bagnell Dam Strip Association presents the reason we are celebrating the Fourth of July!
At 11:00 a.m. on the Plaza Stage 1381 Bagnell Dam Boulevard, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin will make a special appearance in a reading of the Declaration of Independence in Lake Ozark.

This original document is as essential today as it was when the founding fathers gathered in Philadelphia to draft and sign it into our country’s intention. Following the performance, which includes historic background about the origins of the Declaration, children are invited to add their signature among the original signers on a keepsake copy of their own.

A demonstration of cutting feather quills and writing with black walnut ink will offer youngsters the option of signing the Declaration of Independence in 1776 style along with the Thirteen Colonies’ delegates.

And what’s a birthday party with music and cake! Come celebrate the holiday in Lake Ozark!
