The repair you came in for might not be the problem you leave with.

Damonte was working on a 2007 Porsche when something unexpected showed up behind the transmission. What looked like one repair quickly became a much bigger conversation about what was happening inside the engine.

That is one reason diagnosis matters so much. Sometimes the most important findings are the ones you were never expecting to find.

Internal engine problems can start quietly, but the damage can escalate quickly when loose or damaged components begin moving where they should not. Catching those clues early can make a major difference.

This Porsche was a perfect reminder that you never know what you will uncover once you get deeper into a vehicle.

We have officially entered the “customer wants pictures before coming in” era.

Ephraim apparently decided to take the request seriously. So here he is, making himself at home around one very photogenic BMW and giving us plenty of photo evidence.

Before anyone starts calling the shop manager: no customer car was touched, moved, driven, or harmed in the making of these photos.

The BMW was simply providing the background while Ephraim handled the posing.

Honestly, we are not sure if he came prepared for a photoshoot or just happened to find the perfect backdrop.

Would you trust Ephraim to pick the perfect photo spot? Share this with someone who would absolutely turn a car into their personal photoshoot backdrop.

We put Bobby in the hot seat and gave him some automotive situations to solve. Let’s just say a few questions were more breakfast-worthy than others.

Watch now and see what we mean, then like this if you think Bobby passed.

That little voice saying, “Something’s wrong with my brakes”? Listen to it.

This BMW came in with a customer who had a feeling the brakes needed attention. Bobby took a closer look, and that instinct turned out to be right.

The brake pads and rotors needed replacement, and the brake system also received a flush to help keep everything working as it should.

So, how do you know when your brakes need service? Changes in pedal feel, unusual noises, vibration, or reduced braking performance can all be signs that it is time for an inspection. Sometimes, though, it starts with nothing more than a feeling that something is different.

If your brakes have been feeling different lately, that is worth paying attention to.

DM us if your brakes have been giving you signs.

What if your transmission could give you the comfort of an automatic and the attitude of a manual?

That is where a dual-clutch transmission gets interesting. It was designed around a simple goal: make gear changes happen quickly enough that you barely notice the transition.

For performance-focused cars like the BMW 335is, that means the transmission can feel completely at home during everyday driving, while still being ready when you decide to push the car harder.

The clever part is what happens behind the shifter. What looks familiar from the driver’s seat can hide a very different setup underneath.

Forget photo editing. Rolf’s has developed a much more practical filter. Apply it to Mark and suddenly he is holding paperwork, looking productive, and giving everyone the impression that something important is happening.

We cannot confirm how long the effect lasts, but early testing has been promising.

Apparently, all Mark needs to enter productivity mode is a piece of paper. We may have just discovered the shop’s newest secret weapon.

Some problems are a lot more annoying when they happen to a G-Wagon.

Bobby takes us along for a closer look at a 2014 Mercedes G63 Wagon that came into Rolf’s with a problem that sounds simple, but had one important clue hiding in plain sight.

Sometimes, the difference between guessing and diagnosing comes down to knowing what to listen for. That small detail can tell you a lot before you ever start replacing parts.

And honestly, there are worse vehicles to have sitting in the shop.

Would you ride around in this G-Wagon? Tell us in the comments below.

Some people have a workspace. Bobby has a whole automotive fleet.

We are not saying the miniature cars are in charge, but there are enough of them around Bobby’s station to make you wonder who is really running the operation.

Between the glowing lights, computer, radio, tools, and tiny lineup of four-wheeled friends, this workstation has more personality than most desks ever will. Every technician has their own way of making a workspace feel like home, and Bobby clearly decided that his needed a little automotive flair.

Honestly, we respect the commitment. You spend all day working on cars, so why not surround yourself with even more of them?
