We had a little test and tune and some reality came to life, You guys keep building better s**t and There are some big dogs coming to town to party with us this year so we decided we need more dance floor… Our buddy Dennis Wolf along with the entire crew helped me visualize where we needed clearance, as you can see here he’s touching cotton all over… We mapped out our tolerances and went after it…. Can’t wait to show you guys what we built and let you dance!

The 2026 Hardcore Happening design by The great Jimmy Smith! I had planned to do another bodystyle but a little mis communication and Jimmy did a rough draft on this 47-53 Chevy and I loved it , I decided to let him run with it! My Youngest Daughter Souly is collecting parts for this body style Chevy so I consider this her year to be the design!! I’ve built over 30 AD bodystyle trucks so it’s hard to not love it. The Quote on the bottom I heard when I was in middle school and it struck me the day I read it… At that moment I decided to try and live my life by that mantra…
“Live your life the way you want your eulogy to be read” I love it… My most successful and happiest friends unknowingly live this way, Purely epic, wide open, in the moment, everything or nothing with love and compassion in every thing. Our entire crowd lives a wonderful life that would make for an interesting book so out of all our taglines this one I feel fits us all the best! With much excitement and respect we look forward to seeing you all August 1st!

Is it August 1st yet?? Every weekend people come into the bar/restaurant at Lokee-Hikee Campground wearing Old Soul or Hardcore Happening shirts and I always smile, conversation leads to Hot rods and my mind wanders all evening! I love to day dream while I work and build s**t in my mind, I love the folks at the party and we’re all due for a good party, looking forward to seeing you all in August, thanks for always spreading the word and inviting good folks to join us! We love you crazy bastards! Speaking of crazy bastards.. This crew here is one of my favorites, already a legends in their own time and they’re living amongst us!

Ran down to Nashville last weekend with the crew to scout out Burnout wars, it’s was awesome. Tom, Dennis, Matt, Jake, and Pork all ran their trucks and did great. This Aussie run was one of my favorites, all in 100% but the wall touch is what warmed my heart. Haha good times, can’t wait to see you all on August 1st!
