Growing a business isn’t just about getting bigger. It’s about deciding what you want to bring with you as you grow.

With two Community Collision locations, there are more vehicles, more customers and more people depending on us. But the things that matter haven’t changed: treating people well, creating a good place to work, answering questions honestly and being part of the communities we serve.

That’s what we want Community Collision to feel like, no matter which location you walk into.

Two locations. Same commitment to taking care of people.

A school bus stopping ahead of you isn’t an inconvenience. It means kids are about to be somewhere near the road.

National School Bus Safety Week is a good reminder to give buses extra space, slow down around school zones and bus stops, and pay attention to children who may be crossing somewhere you weren’t expecting.

Morning traffic can be hectic. Afternoon traffic can be frustrating. But getting somewhere a few minutes faster is never worth putting a child at risk.

From all of us at Community Collision, please be patient, stay alert and help our kids get to school—and back home—safely.

Handing your teenager the car keys for the first time is a pretty big moment. For them, it means freedom. For you, it can mean trying very hard not to picture everything that could possibly go wrong.

This week is National Teen Driver Safety Week, and it’s a good time to keep those conversations going. Talk about putting the phone away, slowing down, wearing a seat belt, limiting distractions and making good decisions even when nobody is sitting in the passenger seat reminding them.

At Community Collision, we see what can happen when things go wrong on the road. We’d much rather use that experience to remind young drivers—and the people who love them—to be careful out there.

The keys may be in their hands now, but your voice still matters.

When you choose a collision repair shop, you’re putting a lot of trust in the people who work there.

That’s one reason we believe taking care of our team matters. We want Community Collision to be a place where good people want to come to work, where they’re respected for what they know and where they have the opportunity to do their jobs well.

Customers may never meet every person who has a hand in repairing their vehicle, but each of those people matters to the experience.

We spend a lot of time talking about taking care of our customers. We think taking care of the people who take care of them is a pretty important part of that.

You look at your vehicle after an accident and think, “That doesn’t look too bad.”

We understand why. What you see on the outside is usually what you’re using to judge the damage, but once a vehicle is inspected and repairs begin, there can be much more to the story.

Modern vehicles have sensors, cameras, mounting points and safety systems that may need to be checked along with the obvious body damage. That’s one reason an estimate or repair plan can involve more than you expected from looking at the vehicle yourself.

At Community Collision, part of our job is making sure you understand what we find and why it matters. You shouldn’t need collision repair expertise to understand what’s happening with your own vehicle.

Most collision damage is easy to spot. It’s the things you don’t immediately see that can make a difference.

Years of working with damaged vehicles teaches you where to look, what questions to ask and when something that seems minor deserves a closer inspection.

That experience is part of what you’re getting when you bring your vehicle to Community Collision. We don’t want you wondering what’s happening with your vehicle or why a repair is needed. We want you to understand the process and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.

Repairing the damage is only part of taking care of the person who walked through our door.

Most people don’t walk into a collision repair shop because they’re having a great day.

Something happened to their vehicle. Their routine has been disrupted. They may be dealing with insurance, figuring out transportation and wondering how long it’s going to take to get everything back to normal.

We know that.

That’s why we’ve worked hard to make Community Collision feel a little different. You’ll find people who are happy to answer your questions, help you understand what happens next and make the process as easy as we can.

You might even find some ice cream while you’re here.

We can’t undo the accident that brought you through our doors. But we can make what happens afterward a whole lot better.

October is Pedestrian Safety Month, and today is Walk & Roll to School Day—a good reminder that some of the most vulnerable people on our roads aren't inside a vehicle.

Kids are walking, biking and crossing busy streets on their way to and from school. A few extra seconds of patience can make a big difference. Slow down in school zones, pay attention at crosswalks and put the phone away, especially during those busy morning and afternoon hours.

At Community Collision, we spend a lot of time helping people after accidents happen. We'd much rather see our neighbors get where they're going safely in the first place.

Keep an eye out for each other out there.

Today is National Do Something Nice Day, but around here, helping people isn’t something we save for one day on the calendar.

Sometimes that means helping someone through the stress of getting their vehicle repaired. Sometimes it means supporting organizations doing important work in our community. And sometimes it means being part of something like Recycled Rides, where repairing a vehicle can help give someone a little more independence and a whole lot of possibility.

Larry has always believed a business should be part of the community it serves. We’re proud to work alongside organizations like Find Feed & Restore and to look for opportunities to help when we can.

Because doing something nice doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it just starts with noticing where you can make a difference.

A lot happens between the moment you hand us your keys and the moment we hand them back.

There’s the repair itself, of course. But there are also questions to answer, updates to give, insurance details to work through and sometimes simply helping you figure out how you’re getting home.

Those things matter to us.

At Community Collision Center, we’ve always believed a successful repair isn’t just about how your vehicle looks when it leaves our shop. It’s also about how you were treated while it was here.

Cars can be repaired. Relationships have to be earned. We’re grateful every time someone in our community trusts us with both.
