The final round of the DFW Triple Crown is in the books! This was our first time racing at Oklahoma Motorsports Complex, and what a wild weekend it was, with 50 mph winds and temperatures down to 38 degrees. The racing was electric, and we can’t thank Mike and Melissa Eddolls enough for all the effort they put into creating such an amazing series.
This was also our first time integrating pre-order fuel, oil, and tire sales into registration. We hope it made race week a little easier for everyone. Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered parts and stopped by to see us over the weekend. We hope many of you also got to meet our newest employee, Coby, who made his first trip with us to help at the race.
We had a very successful weekend under the tent: one win, five podiums, and plenty of personal-best finishes.
Liam Haswell made his VLR Sapphire debut and was on fire, earning P2 in the Pre-Final, just 0.026 seconds off the lead, and P3 in the Final against two accomplished Cadet drivers. We’re just getting started with our Cadet program, and this was an amazing result.
In 206 Heavy, Chuck Jensen, Jeff Dolian, and Nick Miller finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, respectively. Chris Ramcke improved every session and brought home a strong 5th-place finish in the Final. In the Championship Chuck Jensen took 1st Place, Nick Miller took 2nd Place and Chris Ramcke took 3rd place (with Evan as a stand in). Chuck Jensen also won the rabbit award for the most purple lap sessions throughout the year.
In 206 Senior, Chuck Jensen and Jeff Dolian battled at the front right to the line, finishing 3rd and 4th. Riley Cunningham and Dax Lancon took P7 and P8 in the next group, while Nick Miller and Bekett Paul finished P11 and P12, not far behind. Jackson Ray was caught up in a Turn 1, Lap 1 incident, but ran as high as P5 before finishing P7 in the pre-final. In the Championship, Chuck Jensen and Jeff Dollian tied for 3rd place.
Ademar and Evan tested 2 new chassis’ in KA100 Senior and they showed great pace against drivers a third their age, finishing the Pre-Final in 7th and 8th and the Final in 9th and 11th.
As our last official event of the year, we want to thank everyone who joined us at the track this season. We started the year selling parts, then added tents to make race days easier, expanded our hospitality, brought Chris Williams on as Technical Director—and before we knew it, we had 12 drivers under the tent, all showing great speed. We were adamant that Over-Under Racing wasn’t a team this year, but things have grown in an unexpected direction. Big things are coming for 2027. Stay tuned!
