My name is Mike Baus, and along with my wife Sheryl, we own and operate the NAPA Auto Parts stores in Grapevine and Lewisville. We purchased the Grapevine store June 1st, 1996, and it operates under the legal name of Mi-Sher Auto Supply, Inc. We purchased the Lewisville store on July 1st, 1998, and it operates as Motor Parts of Lewisville, Inc. We also have three Heavy Duty truck and equipment fle
et parts facilities, which operate as Mi-Sher Fleet Specialist, Inc. We would like to take a minute and tell you more about us and our company. We have two children, Tiffany and Jeremy, and both are heavily involved in our business. Before purchasing our own business, I worked for the corporate owned NAPA Auto Parts stores, beginning in 1973. The company gave us many assignments over the years, including stops in Columbus, OH; Syracuse, NY; Dallas, TX (1988-92); and Atlanta, GA. Our last assignment with the corporate stores was Atlanta, GA. I had responsibility for 61 stores in and around Atlanta, Augusta, Macon, Rome and Columbus, GA, as well as Chattanooga, Knoxville and Nashville TN. My family background is in the automotive repair business. My father operated a 6-bay repair facility from 1946 until he sold it to one of my brothers in 2004. At 86 years old, he was still working everyday! Anyway, after working in the family business with my older brothers for a short period of time, it was apparent that I needed to do something on my own. I was hired as a delivery driver for the local NAPA store. That was the start of my career in the parts business. Sheryl and I fell in love with the Dallas area during our assignment here from 1988 until 1992. After spending 4 years in Atlanta, the opportunity presented itself to buy our own store and get back to Texas. We decided to put everything on the line and jump in! We are proud of the growth we have seen in our NAPA stores and our Fleet business. We have by far the best parts people in the area, and sell the highest quality automotive and truck parts and accessories available. We also realize we are never going to be the lowest priced supplier on all items. However, we offer very competitive prices, a top quality product, and outstanding delivery service to our commercial accounts. We offer several services that most of our competitors do not. For example: we turn brake drums and rotors; we mix automotive paint; we make and/or repair hydraulic hoses, and we resurface flywheels. We receive three shipments during the day as well as an overnight shipment from the NAPA Distribution Center in Mesquite, TX., In addition, we also make a Dallas run every weekday, which gives us additional access to non-NAPA items you may need, when you need them. Our stores are open 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday thru Friday, and 8:00-4:00 on Saturday. We would like the opportunity to serve your automotive parts and accessories needs.
