🫎 Every great run deserves a safe finish.

While the excitement is at the starting line, one of the most critical jobs happens at the far end of the runway.

A huge thank you to Frank and Jimmy, our Long Shutdown volunteers, for keeping a watchful eye on every vehicle as it completes its run, slows safely, and exits the course. Their attention to detail, communication, and commitment to safety help ensure the shutdown area is clear before the next racer is sent down the runway.

It’s a role that demands focus from the first pass to the last—and one that often goes unnoticed by those not standing at the end of the course.

🫎 Behind every record-setting pass is a team making it all happen.

Today we’d like to recognize our incredible Timing Tower volunteers — Jake, Frank, and Dave (Dave isn’t pictured, but he’s every bit as important to the team!).

From the first vehicle down the course to the final run of the day, these volunteers spend countless hours tracking times, recording results, and helping ensure every pass is accurate. It’s detailed work that demands focus, patience, and dedication, and they do it all while keeping the event running smoothly.

Your commitment often happens behind the scenes, but it never goes unnoticed.

🏁 Good morning, LTA family! 🏁

It’s race day, and that means it all starts with the Rider/Driver Meeting at 7:00 AM!

📍 Location: Main Pavilion (Registration Trailer)
⏰ Time: 7:00 AM

All drivers and riders should plan to attend. If you’re new to Loring, mandatory Rookie Orientation will take place immediately following the meeting.

After the meeting and orientation wrap up, we’ll complete the track sweep and get ready to send vehicles down the runway! 🏁

Grab your coffee, say hello to your fellow racers and volunteers, and let’s kick off another great day at Loring!
