🔋 **Your Battery Survived Summer… But Will It Survive a New Hampshire Winter?** ❄️

Here's something most drivers don't realize: **Summer heat can do more damage to your car battery than winter cold!**

The trouble is, you may not notice that damage until the temperature drops and your car refuses to start.

🥶 **Why do car batteries fail when it gets cold?**

Heat can accelerate battery deterioration during the summer. Then, when temperatures fall, your engine requires more power to start, while your battery has less power available.

That's why a battery that worked perfectly yesterday can leave you stranded on a freezing New Hampshire morning.

**Here are a few warning signs to watch for:**

🔋 Your engine cranks slower than usual.

🚗 Your vehicle struggles to start, especially on cold mornings.

⚠️ Your battery or charging system warning light comes on.

💡 Your headlights dim noticeably when starting.

📅 Your battery is getting up there in age — especially if it's 3–5 years old.

**The good news? You don't have to wait until your battery fails to find out there's a problem.**

At **Next Gen Auto Care** in Londonderry, NH, we can test your battery and check your vehicle's starting and charging systems to help identify potential problems before they leave you stranded.

And if your battery tests good? We'll tell you that, too. We're not in the business of replacing parts that don't need replacing.

Because nobody wants to start a freezing Monday morning with a click, click, click. 😬

You may have noticed that **Tires Too is now Next Gen Auto Care.**

Why the change? Over the years, we’ve grown into a lot more than a tire shop. Today we handle everything from routine maintenance and brakes to diagnostics, alignments, ADAS service—and, of course, **tires.**

What hasn’t changed is the part that matters most:
The same local team. The same commitment to honest advice and quality repairs. The same people taking care of you and your vehicle.

🍂 Fall is right around the corner, so now is a great time to make sure your tires are ready for colder temperatures, wet roads, and everything New Hampshire weather likes to throw at us.

Great price
7/24/26: This company is fantastic! I highly recommend them to service your vehicle. They were very prompt, extremely thorough, and great communication. I’ve never had such a detailed diagnosis of my car. They provided everything in writing, pictures and videos of everything that was looked at and assessed. They were very professional and knowledgeable about my vehicle and the problems it was having. I didn’t feel any pressure. Very friendly staff. The office was neat and clean. Cost was also extremely reasonable. The offer of a loaner vehicle while mine was being looked at was absolutely amazing and so very helpful! I will be suggesting their services to others in the future. Thank you!
