A few things to do after a beach trip:
1️⃣ Rinse the undercarriage thoroughly, salt accelerates rust fast
2️⃣ Check your air filter, sand finds its way in
3️⃣ Inspect your brakes, wet sand is surprisingly abrasive

If you're new to climbing outdoors, here's something experienced climbers wish someone had told them sooner. 🧗

The skills from the gym don't fully transfer on their own. Outdoor climbing introduces variables that indoor walls don't: rock texture you can't preview, routes that aren't graded, anchors you set yourself, weather that changes mid-climb, and descents that require their own navigation.

None of this means you shouldn't go. It means going with someone experienced the first few times will make you a better, safer, and more confident outdoor climber faster than going it alone. 🙌

Some trips are planned. Some just happen. And honestly the best ones are usually a little of both. 🐾

There's something about loading up and heading somewhere new with nowhere you absolutely have to be. The windows down, your dog riding shotgun, golden hour landing right as you find a spot to stop.

This is what summer is supposed to feel like. 🌅
