🏍️💚 10 YEARS! 💚🏍️

We want to send a HUGE and sincere thank you to all of our customers, repeat customers, distributors, our amazing techs, family, and friends!

Today officially marks 10 years since we opened our shop in Lorton, VA, and we’re just 2 months shy of 11 years since we first started Urban East out of our home garage. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

We appreciate every single one of you more than you’ll ever know. Your continued support means the world to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey along the way.

We hope to celebrate with a party this spring. After all, 11 years of running a family-owned motorcycle shop is something to be proud of! Stay tuned! 🍻🎸🏍️

We can’t wait to see what the many years ahead bring. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

Sometimes working on old bikes is not for the faint of heart. 😅

This 1978 Honda CB550 came to us with aftermarket carbs that needed some serious dialing in. What sounds like a simple tuning job turned into nearly six months of trial, error, and a whole lot of carb adjustments.

Different jets, needle adjustments, carbs on, carbs off, back on again… only to find out it still won’t idle quite right. Sometimes you have to step away, work on something else, and let your brain figure out the next move before diving back in. 🔧

Some bikes respond to a little tuning and are ready to roll. Others make you earn it.

While we had this one in the shop, we also took care of the fork seals and tires. By the time it left, we finally had those carbs dialed in and this CB550 was ripping the streets like it should!

Old bikes have a way of testing your patience, but getting them running right makes it all worth it.

Our daughter, Charlie, got a dirtbike for her second birthday! Finally posting the pics. This bike was found in the trash and given to us by our metal scrapper. We stripped it down to the last bolt, rebuilt and ceramic coated the engine and exhaust, powder coated the frame and wheels, restored the plastics and added some new graphics. Now this little pw50 is ready to rip again.
