Sunday, August 28, 1994 - Huset's Speedway - Gold Cup - Driver Ron Fick from Luverne, MN, before strapping into the #91 Outlaw Sprints car for the Gold Cup A Feature. This photo was most likely taken before the start of the A Feature during driver introductions. Note the tire air tank behind Ron and the infield crew members sitting on the wall around the inside of the racetrack.

Max Dumesney from Australia won the Gold Cup race, and he received a $10,000 check for doing so. Ron Fick #91 finished the Gold Cup in tenth place, which earned him the Hard Charger award. It was advertised that the hard charger would receive a $500 bonus, and the top finishing driver with a 360 cubic inch engine would also receive a $500 bonus.

The #91 sprint car was owned by Blair Nattress and Jerrad Nattress. Ron Fick owned the 410 engine in the car. Ron drove the #91 car on Sunday nights at Huset's in the Outlaws Sprints class, and Jerrad Nattress raced the #91 car on a limited basis on Saturday nights at Hartford Speedway in Hartford, SD, in the 360 sprint car class. Hi Everyone,
As the off season of racing seems to dwindle, I have been keeping a secret from our awesome fans and followers.
I have been blessed with all of you encouraging our racing but the time has come to retire from my racing career. What started as a dream come true when we started in micros almost 13 years ago. My parents said we are only going to do it 3 years and then we are on our own. Well 10 years passed and we still were racing till 2023. I am very fortunate for that. None of it was possible without fantastic sponsors, friends, crew and car owners.
I’m not sad, I’m excited for new doors that have opened for me and being blessed with almost 2 years out on work on my plate at
the shop already. Faith and Work has always come first for our family. I will miss everyone at the track but when you close off one chapter of your life, another new beginning starts. I appreciate you all! You made it enjoyable to the max. Without you fans, racing wouldn’t enjoyable at all.

We loaded up late last night, and today, we are headed the Jackson Motorplex! See you all there!

Rapid speedway results.
We went quick time in hot laps
Heat race 6 to 2nd.
Redrew a 68 putting us starting 11th in the feature.
Fell back a few spots on the first few laps, an got in a rhythm on the top side and a car spin up the track leaving Shane no where to go.
They gave the crew time to pull off the front wing and sent us back out restarted 23rd and made it back to P10.
Not the way we wanted it to go but that’s racing.
Can’t thank all our amazing sponsors for their continued support. We will get the damages fixed and head to Jackson Nationals Thursday

Race night at Rapid Speedway! 🏁

We were really looking forward to heading to the Jackson Motorplex tonight, however due to our driver being sick, we aren't going to make it. Hopefully, Shane is feeling better soon, and we will be back at the track for race night!

Had a great night at the Rapid Speedway! They had an excellent racing surface for us to put on a great show. Multiple lanes. Great pay out. We finished 7th in the feature. Cut down right rear but we finished.
Heat race we started 6th and finished 2nd.
Can’t thank everyone that supports us enough. We have really enjoyed racing when it works for us to go enjoy the night at the track with our friends and family.

We will be racing this weekend, just unsure of where as of now. We will keep you all posted!
