This year we have encountered a HUGE increase in folks paying with credit cards that do not match their information, causing increased processing time and labor while we insured orders were not fraudulent; and likely causing some issues for legitimate customers who were traveling or something along those lines. Though stopping alot of fraud orders as well. As a small company we have to be very deligent in preventing fraud as we cannot consume the large losses associated with it.
We have decided to reinstate Paypal as a payment processor on the site as we feel this will provide a better end user experience, as it will automatically scan for fraud and process or decline attempted orders automatically.
The site will still Authorize only upon first entering the order, which allows us to make changes (very common request) to orders before payments captured- at that time no fees are refunded to us / customer- creates bad customer experience should order need to be cancelled / esp due to backorders etc.
You will now be able to pay with most major credit cards, Debit cards, apple and google pay, venmo(on site,) paypal pay later, paypal fastlane, and affirm.
We have also removed the ship to same address requirement, provided its still able to be verified by paypal as yours and passes authentication.
Hopefully this makes shopping easier on everyone.
