We ordered some extra outboards for stock on our initial Tohatsu order. Available motors are all brand new, come with a 5 year warranty. All engines come with a fuel tank and line, 4hp have an integrated fuel tank.

It’s always good to get a text from a happy customer! This 800 Polaris got a fresh top end (replated monoblock and pistons) and crank seals and has been out taking advantage of the early season we’re having!

We took a little time off to welcome a new addition to our family but are back now and ready to service or repair any snowmobile you have new or old!

We have a couple of boat projects to finish up this week then will be taking about a month off before we start doing snowmobile service and shocks, if you need service before that give our friends over at PRC Performance a call!

We haven’t posted in a while because we’re working on some big and exciting changes for next year! We’ve been very busy and if you’ve gotten lost in the mix we apologize.

That being said winterization season is about to be full swing. We just received our first shipment of antifreeze, oil, stabilizer and filters to get started for those who are looking to wrap up the summer early. As always our winterization services offered are:

Basic winterization- drain and flush engine with -50
antifreeze, stabilize fuel and grease watercraft and trailer.

Full service winterization- includes basic plus oil, filter and lower unit oil change where applicable.

Boat bottom cleaning- remove stubborn stains and growth on hull bottom before they harden up over the winter.

Shrink wrap- outdoor storage available as well.

All services are available on inboard, inboard/outboard, outboard and jet boat/PWCs.

We look forward to seeing you this fall!

We’ve helped out a couple of boats heading through the canal this last week, one purchased in Florida and heading back to Michigan and the other was purchased in Rhode Island and heading to the Chicago area!

The first a brand 41’ Beneteau Yacht called us with no stern thruster which made the busy locks difficult to navigate. We first confirmed that everything inside the boat was operating correctly then located an underwater camera to check on things under the water line where we confirmed both propellers were broken. The owner actually hopped on and tore the propellers off himself while I tracked down replacements! They are now in Canada with everything working correctly.

The second, a 37’ Sailboat with a small yanmar diesel, called with smoke from the engine room and some shredded belts. We found the nutsert and bolt on the main alternator mount were broken. On a time crunch to get back to Chicago before school starts we elected to try removing what was left of the nutsert and through bolting the alternator. A couple of new belts and after the test run they’re smoke free, charging properly and back on their way this morning!
