For those of you who feel that they didn’t know that “that one day would be their last race at SAKC”. Unfortunately, we didn’t either and we sincerely apologize for the “NO WARNING” closure. The immediate closure was not our decision; it was the buyer’s demand as part of the property sale. We didn’t take the money and walk away as many claim. Bottom Line - We didn’t have a life. We tried to keep it going but the 24/7 work schedule with zero time off took a toll on our family. We were burned out and exhausted. We were tapped out physically and mentally. Many don’t know how much work went on behind the scenes after hours. Please don’t begrudge us for wanting a life. We hope you understand that this opportunity made that possible for us. This is 100% the truth. As we pack things up, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to everything we worked so hard to build. It was a lot of hard work and countless hours, but we will treasure all the beautiful memories of SAKC and all the wonderful people we met along the way. Thank you to each and everyone that visited SAKC!
Respectfully, Larry Skloss & Family
