Good Morning Everyone !! Well we are OPEN today at both stores until 5...and then...off for the 4th of July !!

I woke up to 63 degrees this morning. By the time the I headed to Marquette it was already 70. Another kind of sticky start to the morning.

Traffic was kind of light this morning. Everything was flowing smoothly. Downtown Ishpeming they are already starting to block off different streets so keep that in mind if you are going through that area.

Well Today's story from the wandering mind of Scott Sr. or....if I was a soap opera...it would be called " As the Tire Turns " I woke up this morning with all kinds of thoughts in my head. What should I do this weekend. Little Scott came out and Terri and I both have a couple days off so maybe fireworks....swimming....good food that isn't so good for me....the opportunities are endless....

So no story today as I have to go work on a motorhome here in Marquette....but just a thought.

I hope everyone has a Great 4th...I hope you get to see old friends....loving family and everyone enjoys the weekend !!

If I do not make it on here tomorrow....Just know I wish everyone a very Happy 4th of July !!

Good Morning Everyone !! Well I woke up to another some what sticky humid morning and it was already 68 degrees out. Looks like another very warm day ahead of us. It is amazing how you take a shower and get cleaned up only to feel sticky a few minutes later...lol.

Not much to report on the roads this morning. No delays or construction slowing me down and traffic was very light.

So Today...the thought going through my wandering mind is...Federal Holidays. Now I am not complaining but just kind of confused.

A couple weeks ago I had a customer call and ask me if we were open July 3rd. I look at the calendar...thinking maybe July 3rd was a Sunday or something like that only to see it is a Friday. I do a double look and make sure there is nothing listed on it...nope...nothing that states we would be off....so I scheduled him.

As the days went by...I had the same question asked and truth be told we have a bunch of appointments scheduled for Friday.

Then....Napa called me and asked if we were going to be Open because they are closing early. I was like...what is going on ??

Apparently if the 4th of July is on a Saturday....it is a Federal holiday on Friday....not sure why or how...but that is what I was told.

Now I have been working since 1982....44 years...and I have never had July 3rd off unless it was a Sunday....so I guess this is a new thing ???

Well we will be Open as I do have appointments scheduled for July 3rd and....we do have a few Openings left for tire services between both stores.....so if you need that flat fixed...give us a call.

Today's Question of the Day !! Did you ever get the 3rd of July off ?? Am I just out of it ?? Let me know !!

As usual we are Open 8 until 5 today !! Give us a call if you need us...I have a few Openings left today and tomorrow between our 2 stores.

Introducing Josephine and Napoleon...Yep another addition to our madness...( I am playing that " I am mad at you card " for doing this..." hahaha but truth be told...they are kind of cool...

Good Morning Everyone !! Well I woke up to a very muggy - sticky - humid 70 degrees. There was condensation on...well everything. On my way to Ishpeming there were patches of foggy and multiple times my windshield would just steam up as I traveled to work.

Traffic was actually somewhat light this morning with no road delays or construction to report. I will say I seen many deer today on the side of the road and several police officers doing speed traps...so if you are traveling travel with care and watch your speed.

Well I can't say I have had a lot on my mind lately except....the weather. I really do not complain too much about the weather because lets face it...we had those nasty huge snow storms just a few months ago so warm weather I do welcome...but this really hot and humid weather just zaps the life out of me.

I do love to swim though and last night I did go for a bit. I swear if I could I would stay in that water forever...but then...here comes the bugs...lol. The funny part my phone weather app kept saying I was going to get this huge storm last night...and it never came.

So the Question of the Day !! Did you get any of that huge storm that they were predicting where you live ?? I just had humid hot weather.

Well I better get to work. It is going to be a long warm day for us....and we will be here until 5 so if you need us...give us a call and we will get you an appointment as soon as possible.

Remember We Are Much More Than Just a Tire Store !! but we do those too....

Good Morning Everyone !! Well how can I describe this morning....humid, damp, already 70 degrees and surprising dark out due to the clouds. It looks like today we are in for a very warm, humid day with temps hitting the 90's. If possible....I will be swimming somewhere after work...until then...I will be swimming in my soaking wet clothes from all the sweat...yuck...

Traffic was kind of light this morning. Lots of puddles out there and no road construction to report. Everything was flowing smoothly.

With the 4th of July coming up I can't help but day dream about grilling and outdoor fun. Why is it food taste so much better when you are outside on a sunny day. I mean I am not really a big fan of hot dogs...but throw a couple on the grill after swimming at the beach and they can be one of the best tasting things ever. The same with steaks...for some reason grilling a steak on grill makes it so much better.

So just a silly Question of the Day !! What is your favorite picnic food ?? You know the type when everyone gets together and someone brings different dishes to the party. I will say if there is grillling involved I love my steaks...but you always seem to get someone who brings some sort of salad and it is amazing...

Well it is the last day of June...end of the month and I have a ton of end of the month paperwork to do....so off to work I go.

We are Open 8 until 5 at both stores today !! Give us a call if you need us !!

Good Morning Everyone !! Well I woke up to rain and 63 degrees. I will say I woke up around 4 a.m. and it was thundering and raining pretty hard. Lots of puddles in the yard as I headed out to check on all the furry friends.

Traffic was a little heavy thing morning as I headed to work. Everything was flowing smoothly so not much to talk about on my travels.

Well as tradition I like to talk about my weekend adventures....well not much to report today as Terri worked this weekend so it was a get things done around the house couple of days. I shoveled, raked, moved piles and piles of well you know what and raked it out again in the spots my grass is not growing the best. I also cleaned up the yard a bit. Terri did most of the raking in the pig area. Sunday of course ended up with a sauna and I guess I should add I did go swimming a bit and got an ice cream cone for a treat. Strawberry cheesecake flavored....now one of my favorites.

That was pretty much my weekend in a nutshell. Not complaining I like being outside working with the furry friends watching my every move.
