Some of the best moments don't happen in the shop—they happen right here. ❤️

Sitting in the office with Carter, watching his video outro, and seeing how excited he gets about being part of what we do at Modern Masters. These are the memories that mean the most to me.

The cars, the builds, the horsepower, and the business are all great, but nothing compares to spending time with your kids and watching them grow into their own personalities.

I love this little dude more than words can describe, and I'm thankful for every moment we get together.

Love you, buddy. ❤️

This C5 Corvette came to us for some dyno time, and it did not disappoint. 💪

Under the hood is a fully built 416 cubic inch LS combination backed by a billet-built transmission, putting down over 580 horsepower to the wheels naturally aspirated. No boost, no nitrous—just cubic inches, airflow, and the magic of E85.

E85 continues to be one of my favorite fuels for performance applications. The cooling effect, octane, and consistency make it hard to beat when you're chasing reliable horsepower.

This C5 is a perfect example of how far a well-built NA LS setup can go when every part of the combination works together.

Who else loves a rowdy, naturally aspirated LS on corn juice? 🌽🔥

😂 Black Rob's GTO: Engine Bay Edition 😂

The more you look, the worse it gets.

At first glance, you think, "Eh, that's not too bad." Then you start noticing things. A wire here. A zip tie there. A bracket that's doing its best. A hose routing choice that raises more questions than answers.

Five minutes later, you're standing there wondering how this thing hasn't burst into flames, and somehow it's still making serious horsepower. 💀

That's what makes this car legendary. It doesn't care about your opinions, your standards, or basic engineering principles. It just keeps showing up, making power, and embarrassing cleaner, more expensive builds.

Some cars are built with a checkbook. Some cars are built with determination. This one was built with determination, questionable decisions, and an unlimited supply of zip ties.

And somehow... it works. 😂🔥

🐍 Viper update! 🐍

The Gen 1 Viper is coming back together with freshly machined cylinder heads, MLS head gaskets, updated-design head bolts, and everything torqued down and ready for the next phase.

This legendary V10 deserves more than a stock refresh, so we're stepping it up with a set of Modern Masters–modified OBX headers. Do they fit perfectly out of the box? Absolutely not. 😅 But that's what fabrication, experience, and determination are for.

We're making the necessary changes to get them fitting and performing the way they should, because this customer didn't bring us a Viper to settle for average.

The goal is simple: make this Gen 1 Viper stronger, more reliable, and nastier than it has ever been.

Stay tuned—this snake is about to have a whole new attitude. 🔥🐍

🚨 You're about to see the most clapped-out car ever to hit the Modern Masters dyno. 🚨

My buddy Black Rob's 2004 Pontiac GTO has been through absolute hell and back. Every time you look at it, there's a new battle scar, a new zip tie, or a new "temporary" repair that's somehow become permanent. 😂

Despite all the abuse, this thing still laid down almost 700 horsepower while missing roughly 12 pounds of boost from a fresh issue that decided to show up at the worst possible time. That's the crazy part—it's not even close to running at full potential.

Knowing Rob, it'll be patched up, turned back up, and making 800+ horsepower again before long.

Proof that sometimes the fastest cars aren't the prettiest cars. Sometimes they're held together by determination, ratchet straps, zip ties, and pure LS-powered anger. 💀🔥

Tag a friend whose project car is one broken part away from greatness.

More than an engine builder, shop owner, or performance parts developer, I'm a father first.

One of the best parts of this journey is getting to share my passion for cars with my kids and giving them experiences I never had growing up. I wasn't raised in a family that lived and breathed cars, so being able to take my children to shows, races, shops, and road trips is something I never take for granted.

The horsepower, the builds, the dyno numbers, and the business are all great—but the memories made with my kids are what matter most. Watching them get excited about the same things that fuel my passion makes every late night in the shop worth it.

Building cars is what I do. Building memories with my children is who I am.

🔧 Nissan Frontier progress update!

Getting this Frontier one step closer to being back on the road. The valve cover gasket job is complete, the lower intake manifold has been thoroughly cleaned up, and everything is prepped and ready for the upper manifold to go back on.

Nothing beats opening the hood and seeing clean, fresh parts going back together the right way. Taking the extra time during repairs makes a big difference in reliability and longevity.

Stay tuned for the finished product! 💪

🔧 Nissan Frontier freshened up and leak-free!

This Frontier came in for a valve cover gasket replacement and some cooling system upgrades. We replaced the failure-prone plastic heater core hoses with upgraded metal heater core lines for a more durable, long-term repair. Finished it off with fresh valve cover gaskets and got everything buttoned back up looking like new.

Preventative maintenance and quality repairs go a long way toward keeping these trucks on the road for years to come. 💪
