Dumore is hiring a Receiving Clerk!
SUMMARY: Responsible for deliveries, verifying shipment records, verifying quality of shipment, accepting shipments, and distributing materials and parts coming into the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Thorough understanding and use of Dumore Quality Plan in all phases of material control.
Unloads freight carriers and signs freight bills of lading.
Opens shipments, confirms that product quality and quantity are per the purchase order and engineering specifications, and documents measurements of all incoming inspection.
Accurately receives purchase order. Stamp packing slip with receiving date.
Works with purchasing, engineering and other departments to resolve product concerns, over shipments and/or under shipments.
Puts proper month tag and part number on correct product.
Perform Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) duties.
Delivers product to the proper inventory location, department or personnel.
Changes inventory locations when necessary.
Operate forklift and pallet trucks when necessary.
Moves reject material to Quality Control hold on screen.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer experience required. Must be a certified Forklift driver
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees or vendors.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform metric conversions.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: The ability to perform computer transactions and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Protective Clothing/Equipment Required: Safety equipment and apparel is required and expected to meet applicable regulations and policies.

During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be occasionally required to lift over 100 pounds, will regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will frequently lift up to 25 pounds.

The employee works in a warehouse environment and is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high places, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
