The $100 is refundable ONLY if the appointment is canceled 24 hours or more prior to the repair date / time. The cost of this deposit DOES go toward the cost of service call out fee / repair.

People like this are going to be the reason I will now require a deposit for a first time customer. You book your appointment and I show up and you aren’t there, I need to charge for my time and fuel costs as well as screwing up the rest of the schedule for the day. Showed up and no answer via text or phone call, then proceeds to block my phone number. Sorry to everyone else, but this has happened too many times now. First time customers or non vetted customers will be required to pay a $100 refundable deposit or will go towards cost of repair / service call. Respect other people’s time and money, I do. Being a decent person isn’t that difficult to do. I don’t need your business if you are this type of person, stay far away from me please!

What you’re seeing is engine oil that has been poured into the brake master cylinder. It has been in there for a month and the only complaint was a fading brake pedal. The petroleum in the engine oil saturates and expands all the rubber seals from the master cylinder, ABS module/pump, brake hoses, and all the brake calipers. The repair cost of this is insane when factoring in the ABS unit. If you aren’t sure where a fluid goes, contact someone that does or just get it towed.

Pro tip: don’t lean on your door while it’s open or put your full weight on it all the time… the hinges can only handle so much before it literally rips the door off. That is exactly what has happened on this 2010 GMC Sierra. Almost 15 years of fixing vehicles and this is the first and only time I’ve had to replace an entire door…
