Every repair starts with the right diagnosis.

This truck came in with a Cylinder 6 misfire. After testing the ignition, fuel system, and wiring, our technician, Ricky, traced the problem to a collapsed lifter that was preventing the intake valve from opening.

Instead of guessing or replacing parts, we followed the evidence to find the true root cause. The customer chose a complete lifter replacement for long-term reliability, and the cylinder head is now in our in house machine shop for a full inspection and valve job before everything goes back together.

Quality repairs come from patience, experience, and doing the job right the first time. Stay tuned as we get this truck back on the road! 🚗🔧

We're excited to welcome Ricky to the Meridian Automotive team!

With 21 years of experience in the auto repair industry, Ricky brings an incredible level of expertise to our shop. He is a Nissan Factory Master Technician, Kia Factory Master Technician, and an ASE Master Technician - a combination of certifications that reflects years of dedication to his craft.

Before joining Meridian Automotive, Ricky spent his career working at dealerships in Kansas City before making the move to Idaho just a couple of months ago.

We're proud to have Ricky on the Meridian Automotive team and know our customers will appreciate the experience, knowledge, and attention to detail he brings to every vehicle.

Tuesday night we hosted our New Driver Clinic and it was a great success! A shop full of eager young drivers excited to have their freedom on the road, but also learning some skills and answers to the “what if” situations.
