Built in the early 1920s, our warehouse is one of the first few buildings built when Mesa was established. Strategically built along the railroad, a lifeline to and from Arizona, the Sunkist Warehouse processed and packed citrus goods.
In Arizona's history, citrus growers were one of the main revenue sources of our area.
When we took over the building after it had been left vacant and withering away against the elements for a few decades, we conducted a full restoration while maintaining as much of the original character.
The red brick, many of the windows, wooden trusses, polished concrete and Sunkist art work on the red brick is original.
About 100-years of heritage, history and character preserved for our community to enjoy.
Got inspired by recent post showing their journey 🙌
