I had the opportunity to team up with the owner of Hedricks Auto to install a monster BluePrint Engines 632 big-block, along with an Eaton Truetrac differential and new gears!

There’s nothing quite like seeing a build like this come to life. 💪🇺🇸

🚨 THIS IS WHY CLEARANCE MATTERS! 🚨

CHEAPER DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN LESS EXPENSIVE!

A customer brought his Jeep into 1350 Offroad complaining about an extremely rough ride. He said it felt like he was constantly smashing into the bump stops.

After inspecting the suspension, we quickly found out why. 👇

❌ Rear lower axle shock brackets welded in the wrong position.

❌ Upper shock mounts that are included with the Rock Krawler suspension kit were never installed.

❌ PSC hydraulic steering ram beat up from improper setup and clearance issues.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY WE CYCLE SUSPENSIONS AND CHECK CLEARANCES!

At 1350 Offroad, we don’t just bolt parts on and send vehicles out the door.

🔧 We cycle suspension systems through their travel.

🔧 We check shock positioning, bump stop engagement, and component clearances.

🔧 We verify proper hydraulic ram assist setup and steering clearances.

🔧 We take the time to make sure everything works together the way it should.

CLEARANCE! CLEARANCE! CLEARANCE! 💥

Now, unfortunately, this customer is looking at another repair bill to correct work that should have been done properly the first time.

And that’s the frustrating part.

We understand that 1350 Offroad might not always be the cheapest quote. But there is a reason for that.

The difference between our price and a cheaper install is often MUCH LESS than what it costs to fix a poorly executed build.

We’re not interested in cutting corners. We’re interested in building rigs that perform correctly, handle properly, and hold up when you push them.
