How much does a road trip to Grand Teton & Yellowstone REALLY cost? 💸🚐

Hi, it’s Chance from Chance | California | Van life & Dog Reviews! We just took an almost 3,000-mile road trip, and our total came to $2,297.47 for 2 people and 1 dog.

This was definitely a bigger trip for us, not just a quick weekend getaway. After everything Chance went through with his surgeries, we wanted to celebrate his recovery by taking him somewhere special. We chose Grand Teton and Yellowstone because of the cooler weather, and I knew Chance wanted to see some big mountains after being at home for over 4 months.

Of course, every road trip looks different depending on your route, travel style, and how long you stay. This is what our trip cost, and I wanted to share the actual numbers to give you a realistic idea of what a trip like this might look like for your own budget.

Was it worth it? Absolutely. Getting to celebrate Chance feeling better and experiencing these beautiful places together made it so special. 🥹🏔️
